Anybody switched from one to the other? If so what were your thoughts? P28 may be a little extreme so that's why thinking of trying p92 lie 5.
Not a sizable difference.
Bauer Curve: P88 (Kane) VS P92 (Backstrom)?
I made up for by tweaking the length, 6 lie being about an inch shorter. Shooting wise there is some adjustment in technique. The 28 makes you shoot off the toe where as the 92 is more a heel to toe type technique.
I find the adjustment easier going from the 28 to the P28 is great heel to toe as well. Just have to take a minute to figure out the release point versus the doldrums. I went P92 lie 5 to P I preferred the P92 for saucers and toe drags. I find the toe on the P28 took me a while to dial in the drags. It's more pronounced, so the puck would end up shooting behind me and I would lose it.
Now I've adjusted. The P28 is great for general puckhandling and I love it for the quick release snappers I tend to use. I've always been a lie 5 guy though. I could never fully adjust to the P92 until I tried it in a lie 5. I also have a bit more control over my shots too, so there's that as well, but anyone can control their shot with their curve, just takes practice. I went from P92L5 to P In terms of just the lie, P92L5 and P28 are about the same.
I felt like the toe was more off the ice on the P28, whereas the P92 was more rockered from heel to toe, and had less blade on the ice overall. I liked the P28, but was having problems keeping long outlet passes flat and down. They would float and wobble. SO just went to P88 which gets the most blade ont he ice, and I can make clean crisp passes now.
Bauer Curve: P88 (Kane) VS P92 (Backstrom)?
And, despite being labeled as lie 6, the P88 is the same lie as the P Do you still have P28 sticks? Try changing your release point, so you release from just past the middle of the blade. If you wait too long, you'll release with the puck only half in contact with the blade face due to the rocker. The wobble effect comes from the dead zone between the two lies.
I'm happy with the P88 though.The arrow season 1 in hindi mp4moviez
The P28 was just too inconsistent, especially when I was under pressure and didn't have a lot of time. I'm sure I could practice a lot and eventually get it down, but that's not going to happen. And it's not going to improve in a game.We are still working for you! A Lindy Fralin Original Design!Appen payment proof

I play a Strat a lot of the time and the P is more reminiscent of a strat front pick up than the humbucker was. It is also dead quiet, no hum.I play defense and am big on shooting some hard low slap shots and quick accurate wrist shots. Passing I need a stick to pass hard on the ice and have great saucer passes. Which blade would suit me better for those hard low slap shots and quick wrist shots with some great saucers? The P88 and the P92 are very similar curves, the only real difference between the two is the toe on the p92 has more of an open face.
For that reason, I would use the p88 as the less open face would help keep your shots a few feet lower from the blue line, and the deep mid curve will allow you to quickly put shots on net. I use the Warrior Kovalchuk, which is almost identical to the Bauer P88, and when playing on D I find I'm able to easily put quick wristers and snappers on net from the blue line. Try the PM9, that is the most advanced pattern, lends to just as powerful and more accurate shots, great for passing too.
The P88, is not that a former Lindros pattern, if so, that is a stick for beginners with a big mid curve, horrible in terms of versatility- bad handling on back hand. The PM 9 may take a couple weeks to get usedto but you will be much better in the long run. Answer Save. Chris Lv 6.
As for across surface passes, and saucer passes I would again choose the P88 over the p Still have questions? Get your answers by asking now.Forgot your password? By chrisplosionsJune 30, in Ice Hockey Equipment. The one thing I noticed most going from a P88 to P92 was my shots going over the net. That's probably due to the slightly open face of the P92 compared to the closed face of the P The lie's are slightly different as well which will take a game or two to adjust to.
Both are excellent curves. I have both curves. The P88 has great wrist shot capabilities but most of my wristers went in the middle of the net in terms of height.
Handling was so so. When turning with the P88, I found it more of an effort to keep the puck on the blade.
Receiving passes with the P88 is more difficult. Went back to the P Easier to hit top shelf after 1 or 2 sessions with it. Passing and stick handling is magnificent. I also like the look of the blade more than the P The P88 to me seems like a good all around stick but the P92 is more my style of reception of passing, hitting top shelf, accuracy and handling the puck. In fact receiving passes should be easier with 88 due to ability to cup the puck more They are both listed as the same lie, but are far from actually being the same lie.
I have both and the P88 is less of a lie than the P The rocker profile on the bottom of the blade is very different and the extra loft makes it play very differently. Could not agree more P88 is a great all around with a mid net finish. P92 for going upstairs and a tighter spaces.Finding the best stick and then not being able to get another one can be frustrating!
